Prof. Martinez-Celorio has a wide experience in teaching and research at the University in areas like Physics, Mathematics, and Engineering. Prof. Martinez-Celorio has taught at the Higher Polytechnical Institute of Havana (Cuba), Center for Research in Optics (Mexico), University of Guanajuato (Mexico), University of Valencia (Spain), and Humboldt International University (Florida).

He also has two Bachelors one in Telecommunication Engineering, and the other in Mathematical Physics, a Master of Science in Electronics with specializing in Digital Systems, and a Master of Science in Optics.

He has authored or co-authored more than 50 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. He is also co-author of textbooks on Ordinary Differential Equations, Introduction to Probability and Statistics, Experiments on Physics I (Mechanics and Thermodynamics), Experiments in Physics (Electricity and Magnetism), and An Introduction to spectroscopy ( all of them are the internal publication of the University of Guanajuato, Mexico).
